You stay in one of just three large, luxury geodomes – fully self‑contained, quiet and private. Each dome has its own garden, outdoor seating, BBQ and wood‑fired hot tub, so you can disappear from the world for a while and just focus on each other.

What to expect when you book

Choose your dates and dome

Use our online accommodation booking to select your dates. You can note if it’s a honeymoon, anniversary or other special occasion.

Add extras

On the booking form you can request a grazing platter and bubbles, and ask for your hot tub to be filled and lit before you arrive.

Arrival at Hanmer Glamping

Check‑in is from 3pm. You’ll have an allocated parking space, then follow the lime‑chip path through the gardens to your dome – Dumblane, Balfour or Isobel. Each one is private, quiet and set among trees and birdlife.

Settle in and unwind

Open the curtains to sweeping New Zealand mountain views, make a coffee and explore your private garden. Fire up the BBQ, or head into Hanmer Springs village for dinner and bring takeaway back to enjoy in your dome.

Soak under the stars

Your wood‑fired hot tub is a highlight – many couples mention it as the best part of their stay, especially for anniversaries and honeymoons. If it hasn’t been pre‑lit, allow 2.5–4 hours for it to heat.
