Imagine waking up to stunning views of the Hanmer Basin to the mountains. Shower in the en-suite, put the coffee machine and bacon on and then take a 9 minute drive into the village and all it has to offer.  At the end of the day come back to your private garden, strike up the BBQ, pour a glass of wine and sit in your own wood fired hot tub staring up at the Milky Way …

Hanmer Glamping consists of 3 luxury glamping geodomes, each with its own private garden, hot tub and BBQ. Our domes are a spacious combination of a house sized tent but with all the facilities and luxury of a modern hotel room.

On a clear night you can star gaze from the luxury of your bed or the hot tub. You will be serenaded in the morning by fantails, bellbirds and tui.

Hanmer Glamping is set within beautiful park-like gardens.  You are welcome to walk around the gardens during your stay – there is something to admire in every season. We have plenty of natives along with a large selection of exotic plants. During the spring we have an abundance of peonies with over 25 varieties which put on a magnificent display.

Thank you for the fabulous 3 days

Thank you for the fabulous 3 days we had at the Dumblane Dome. Phil and I absolutely needed the break away (although he worked a lot of the time) and time to recharge our batteries.

The domes are an amazing concept and we loved everything about the Dumblane tent, from the fixtures and fittings, to the location and beautiful views, and the ease of having everything at our finger tips and of such high quality. So much peace and tranquility came with it and I loved every minute there. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and I will DEFINITELY be back.

Amazing time

My husband and I have just had two nights Glamping to celebrate our 52 Wedding Anniversary. This has been on my Bucket List and did not disappoint, everything was perfect, our Hosts, our yurt with all the mod cons, the views and even a Wood Pigeon and Fantails. We intend to return soon. Didn’t want to leave

We were treated by a friend to a night away at Hanmer Glamping, it was spectacular the views, the domes, the spa under the stars everything was just perfect we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!

Facilities are 5 star

We were absolutely amazed at this luxury accommodation. From the start Steve had fantastic communication. The hot tub was warm on arrival ready for us to jump in. The facilities inside are 5 star, even with a coffee machine. The area was quiet and peaceful and although we didn’t use the games room due to the short trip, we thought it was awesome they had pool, table tennis and other games available to use. Highly recommend. We will be back again!

An amazing place to stay and we couldn’t recommend it more. The views are beautiful but we were really taken aback by the level of the accommodation. It is incredibly luxurious, comfortable and private. They owners have thought of everything and so you are well looked after in terms of amenities. If you are looking for a getaway this is the perfect spot.
