Hanmer Glamping consists of 3 luxury geodomes, each with its own private garden, hot tub and BBQ. Our domes are a spacious combination of a house sized tent but with all the facilities and luxury of a modern hotel room.
On a clear night you can star gaze from the luxury of your bed or the hot tub. You will be serenaded in the morning by fantails, bellbirds and tui.

The Gardens
Hanmer Glamping is set within beautiful park-like gardens. You are welcome to walk around the gardens during your stay – there is something to admire in every season. We have plenty of natives along with a large selection of exotic plants. During the spring we have an abundance of peonies with over 25 varieties which put on a magnificent display.

The Area
Hanmer Springs is situated in the Hurunui region of Canterbury. Hanmer is an alpine village at the northern end of the Southern Alps. In winter the mountains are snow capped, with regular snowfall in the township. In summer it is frequently hot and dry.
Spring and autumn bring everything in between. Hanmer is most well known for the Hot Pools, but there is an abundance of highlights and things to do in the area, from pubs and fine dining to mountain biking, skiing and jet boating. Don’t forget to head over the hills to St James or the Molesworth for a taste of rural NZ.
