Hanmer Springs is an alpine village about 90 minutes drive from Christchurch. Hanmer is known for it’s Thermal pools, walking and mountain bike trails and heritage woods.

Hanmer Springs has a generous number of pubs and restaurants – you will find somewhere that suits your tastes, from a casual pub to fine dining. We are also lucky to have some boutique shops, all central to the village and easy to access.
