Strawberries!
Spring is certainly here with the garden beginning to bloom. I managed to sort out the strawberries and plant a few cherry tomatoes in the greenhouse this weekend.
If you have booked to stay with us in a few weeks time, you will be able to help yourself to the strawberries and tomatoes in the greenhouse. There’s nothing like a few freshly picked strawberries sitting in the garden on a summer’s day!
With any luck there should be some rhubarb on the way, as well as our fresh, free range eggs which guests are welcome to help themselves to.
The asparagus is beginning to shoot, so check out the Games Shed and greenhouse during your stay – if we have fresh produce to share it will be there.
In the meantime, while the strawberries and tomatoes grow, we are enjoying the cherry blossom which is looking spectacular.
